On the right side of the top row of keys is the PrtSc key click this key. This is the key to take a screenshotof the entire screen. Thanks to the keyboard shortcuts, you have a couple of other capture options. Go to the window in which you want to take a screenshot and select New on the Snipping Tool. Use Snip & Sketch
Click/tap on the Save Snip button after making any edits you wish to the snip. Starting with Windows 10 build 17704, youll see a note about consolidating and modernizing snipping experiences in the Snipping Tool. Currently, we are not planning to remove the Snipping Tool in the next update to Windows 10 and the consolidation work underway will be a feedback and data-driven decision.
Clicking on the pause button will take you directly to the app and from there you can edit the media content.
Within Screenshot (Cmd+Shift+5), you have the option to record your entire scree or a selected portion (via the two right-most icons).

When it works, you will hear a capture sound and see a screenshot preview at the bottom left of the screen, where you can tap on it to edit or share. To capture a screenshot on an Android phone or tablet, press the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously. Screenshots only capture the visible portion of the screen but you can capture a whole document or webpage by tapping on the screenshot preview and selecting Full Page at the top right.
Drivers and Hardware
The above method is the best way to get Windows 10 for free — at least for now. There are other ways you can get Windows 10 if you need it, including free and low-cost options that may be worth exploring. If you legitimately purchased and no longer use these older versions, Microsoft’s Windows 10 activation servers will accept Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 keys on your PC. Windows 11 prioritizes simplicity, sometimes at the cost of burying functionality behind menus or inside the Settings app. The old way of setting browser defaults was more convenient for almost everybody. You’ve also got your access to things like Touchpad controls, Pen settings, and even Your Phone set up.
The Game Bar
